Black Mountain

Black Mountain is located in Imperial Valley North East of the Glamis off-road park. This site covers an extensive area of the Interstate 8 from Jacumba to approximately 50 miles East of Yuma, Arizona. This repeater system is part of the CalZona Link.

The CalZona Link is a cooperative effort of the (ARA) Arizona Repeater Association and (ECRA) East County Repeater Association.

Railroad activities around Black Mountain include the Union Pacific Railroad running past the Glamis Store. Amtrak train #1 and #2 The "Sunset Limited" also run on this track. This is a busy section of railroad and sees a significant amount of rail traffic.
